and thats why I asked what machine were they using to do the heads.but,I've also fixed heads from other shops that used a pilot that was to loose in the guides before.even a serdi can cut a seat crooked.

Nothing amateur with a seats ground with stones if the operator knows what he is doing will come out fine. You cant do all the fancy radiuses but you can still do a great valve job.
