Yes I have tried it on my street car years ago. 500hp small block with blower. A TURD with the blower belt off. I couldn't believe the difference. It was lucky to be making 200-250hp with belt off.
If he takes the charge pipe off and left the belt on the blower, the motor could breath but would waste the energy spinning the blower ( 15-20% of your flywheel hp ) those should be about 460-470 hp in NA. so that number minus what it takes to spin the blower (~69-94hp) |

Ive thought about just running it for a bit with them on, but worried I might like it too much. :faint2: Rather just take them off now, while I don't have a place to put it yet, as boathouse is under construction. Then just enjoy it in stock form.

Removing horsepower..... you my friend, are in the wrong hobby. Better question is can I rig up a way to have these vortex’s feed my whipple.
