Cut last inch off. What cam you have? Also when you mention reversion what do you have milky oil or did you physically inspect your exhaust and ports and see moisture... long idle time?

The good news is reversion doesn’t cause milky oil, but the bad news is many other things do. Cold water, cold oil, bad intake gaskets, blown head gaskets, failing oil cooler, and the list goes on. A lot more info is needed to even guess.

Everything new. That means everything is suspect. Most likely culprit intake gasket. Have you run the heads, block, intake before without getting water in oil?

i just went through this issue. I also had reversion issues on top of milky oil. it was a fresh motor with an hour of run time. I found that the intake gasket had a small leak

I just had dry tails built and i was told by pretty much everyone you cannot run flappers with dry tails. instead i had 2 reversion rings put in and 14" tall risers
