Try new plugs before you start pulling other parts. Easy enough to do in case you have fouling issues. I just went through similar issue.

+1

I’d give it the full Monty of a tune up before you start chasing ghost. It could be plugs, plug wires, filters, voodoo curse from an ex wife etc. Start with the cheap simple stuff that should be done anyways.

The pump was replaced 2 years ago and it has a screen on it.

Carb or MPI?

For MPI

If it has a VST you'll want to dig into it as the electric pump pickup is probably plugged up with gunk. Mine was at 250 hrs. Also check the check valves at your fuel tank, they plug up too as well as the 90* at the mechanical lift pump.

I pulled the pump which is new. Looked pretty clean. I cleaned it all out and ran it over the weekend. If you go full throttle it falls on its face but if I gradually increase throttle it will run better. Still does there is an issue. I will check the lines and see if they are clogged. Just FYI boat only has 250 hours on it. Motor has about 5 hours.

Just a slight elbowing: Why people love to replace several or more parts and stay up all night wondering what is wrong with their engine, yet fail to buy a few low dollar tools always amazes me.
Fuel psi testers are under $40, even locally.

Report backwith psi at idle, low speed, and when the issue occurs.

Try tonot runmotormuch even when testing. Lean can burn a piston or blow a headgasket and notch a head pretty quick. :(
