Wish I would have seen this when I was doing research.

I did all the programming except for setting my "preferences". Shouldn't the auto retract still work when going no wake speed or switching ignition off? Thanks

ok, my misunderstanding
Yes it should auto retract when shutting OFF, maybe not when going to no wake unless you have it in auto trim which needs your preference is set and active. "How it should work" Up on plane and using FAV1 or 2. Boat slows to no wake, the tabs will go down to keep bow down. Once boat is at idle, tabs come up. If FAV is not active there will be no tab movement Tabs should retract when motor is turned OFF The tabs will auto retract if wired correctly. Need to have Orange and Blue wire using the starter Bat. Grounds shall also use the same Bat. I connected Orange from the control unit to the outdrive Trim motor since it comes direct from the starter post and was easy access Orange on tab switches connected to Red/Purple at the Helm, and the Blue to the Run connection on the key switch |

I just spoke w Bennett and they said they haven't made any upgrades to the system in a while but they all work as they are supposed to. Do you know what generation of the system you have? Am I stupid to still want these on my boat?

The previous versions did not have the NEMA connector, the one just installed does
As before I'm on number 6 and has continued for years The good thing is Bennett starts the warranty all over again when your sent a new one |
Did you get anything out of the NMEA connector setup? Is it better?

I'ts not connected, I don't have anything on the boat that uses NEMA
