If you feed it more PSI, it will bleed off right next to the Schraeder valve. That little pull up pin is spring loaded as well. I used to use a little 12V compressor/battery jump starter to pressurize mine, and only one would actually pop off excess pressure. The most important thing is that the green and white dots pop and stay up.

I went and bought a cheap cigarette powered air pump and left it on the boat. Then hook it up, turn it on, they pop in 20 seconds and they drain off in like 5 minutes.
