Default Circulating hose height?

Anyone know the difference between 32-861183 and 32-897181?
The hose I have is aftermarket (no numbers on it) and is about an inch short in height to line up right with the thermostat housing.
Want to replace but which one? The 32-897181 is what is listed for my app.

Hoping someone could measure what they have rather than guessing.
What I have measures 14-1/2" measuring like this pic. Needs to be about an inch taller. (15-1/2")

It might be a small block hose you have. Big block water pumps all have the exit in the same place, or very close. And the crossover on the front of the intake is likewise at pretty much the same height.

it looks to me as a sierra small block hose

what engine and year do you have and is it a stock cooling set up ? Looks stock to me so you should not be having an issue if you get the correct hose.
.
if you have the engine serial number and a stock set up that would direct you the correct hose

Obviously its a big block you have in the pic

post your info and I am sure I could figure it

It's a 1990 454 mag 0C542168 with new style thermostat housing.
Book says in should be a 897181 .
I just would like to confirm the dimension before I order.
if I didn't have this Sierra that's short I wouldn't even question it. I'd just order.

Why don't you just order both part numbers from O'Rilleys (they are a Sierra distributor) buy and keep the right one and leave the wrong one there.

I don't want a Sierra, and I didn't think it would be that difficult for some to measure what they have.
