Nice build. 700 plus hp, not a chance. Pretty much a stock compression ratio of an HP500. No way would bolting on some afr heads, and a little larger cam, net over 200hp gain on an HP500.
Tons of 502 builds around here over the years, with afr heads and a bob m cam. They usually make right around 600 give or take. To get a legit 700hp, gonna take a lot more than a 8.8:1 509ci. With all the variations in dynos, and dyno trims, I dont put alot of faith in dyno numbers anymore, unless theres gobs of data to look at. Main thing is did you get a good tune, and the engine pulled cleanly to peak rpm without issues. |
