lol I was thinking the same thing. I thought the forum was off his dick.

If you want to hear someone wax poetic about “cylinder filling” he’s your guy. What you’re actually going to get: afr heads and a crane 741 cam with more aggressive ramps. (Doesn’t seem wise for valvetrain life to me?)

I would spend the money on a 540 rotating assembly. After that your 600 hp goal will be easy without port work or a time bomb camshaft. Cubes simplify everything.

Tell him you would like both cams to match each other.

If you use the mpi intake, cut down and blend the runners to match the plenum floor , send tb to tpis and have them take it from 60 mm to 68 mm. Port match the intake. If your going carbed, dont run out and buy a vic jr, buy a edelbrock performer rpm, it will kick the vic jrs ass from 5800 down and for the 40 ft lbs tq and hp the vic jr gives up, the 5 hp you gain at 6000 isnt a good trade off!

Anyone have any thoughts on Arizona Speeds EFI manifolds. Would like to stick with EFI but I know they are seriously restricted in HP gains. Carbs vs EFI ?
