Default headers??

If you run headers can you run any cam you want without risk of reversion? I would like to build a 600 plus HP small block to run in my boat but don't know much about reversion and how headers solve this issue. I have built a stout sbc for my camaro that's been going on 5 years of abuse and is still running as good as the day I installed it, just not sure of this whole reversion deal??

Cam overlap causes reversion - marine headers are wet exhaust systems.

Its all about where the water is mixed with the exhaust stream. You can run fully dry tailpipes, that are water jacketed , but water never actually mixes with the exhaust.

Slight derail but prevalent. Is this for a 288 Sunsation you list under your name ?

These are all single engine as far as i remember, so...........

I vote,,,,,,,B..I..G....B..L..O..C..K
And I'm one of a small # of sbc lovers here.

Like the idea of a big block but don't like the idea of cutting new holes in transom and plugging the old ones. Yes this would be for my 288 sunsation.
