Yrah paradigm, I know that guy. He's the same one that says his boat doesn't need to be covered because "hell, it's a boat right?"

Be careful when you bolt it back on. Use some neversieze on the threads, some ultrablack on the gasket surfaces and dont overtorque the bolts. The darn plastic elbow deforms pretty easy. Been there, done that. Glad you found the leak. Tom

Form31... I was planning to replace bolts with studs and use some semi perm lock tite on them. Is ultrablack a silicone? Maybe that is what they had on when I took them off. Looked like who ever worked on this before had quite a battle going. I should have the pic of my bolsters back this week, then I need to get them developed and email to you. Looks like they will be tough to make. My guys said he wouldn't be able to reproduce them, so he won't quote. Maybe you can put something together though. I saw a set a guy on this forum made that looked great. I'm sure he would give you more advise. His screen name is Martiniboat(er)?

Thanks for the help,

Dave

Studs good idea, Yea untrablack is a good gasket sealer (silicone) you can get at any auto store. Thanks for the tip on martiniboater, Ill try and reach him. When you get them done, let me know what I owe you for the pictures.
Thanks
Tom

Tom, if you go to fastboats****** and look at the thread titled 24' pantera 1979 (tech section) you can see the bolster martiniboater made.
