I am 10.5 and run 93, gonna drop that a tad probably with cosmetics as when I pulled heads off to refresh last week I see a gasket pushing, I think 9.5-10.0 is highest I would go.

My 509's with the 741 hyd roller cam. JE 10 to 1 pistons, Dart ported heads, bore knotched cylinders, Deep oil pan with windage tray, Dart intake port matched to the heads and every other trick I could do ran on mid grade all day long. OH the block was decked true to the crank for -0- deck height. ( tight quench )

A similar engine with less tweeks done produced 625 HP on the Dyno. the other engine wasn't zero decked, valve notched or port matched. There were a couple of other things but I forget the details.
