Carb motors can usually take more timing. Already put a safety net in before coming off dyno Max run was 32 backed out to 29. Also implemented a fail safe for water temp to reduce timing in the event of clog or impeller loss.

Valve shrouding is hurting me so the only thing left to do is porting. I am done playing around with them for the summer and am going boating. Here is a 468 blower motor on the same dyno just for comparison sake. You can decide if it is greedy or not. I believe he said this was 731 cam

right about what a stock 525sc merc makes with a cam upgrade...
