I am running the 139651 on a 10:1 single dominator 598.
Does not make a lot of vacuum at low RPM so the in and out of gear with the 18 x33 props are no Bueno

I wouldn’t think the 651 wouldn’t be that big in a 600” motor?? Maybe you need to play with timing tuning more??

That would be a great cam for many 500"-565"engines.

Top of my head, maybe Sutphen30 ? Actually,I think he has run a few of these with firing order swaps. Give'm a PM.

My setup- 509” dart aluminum heads that are going to get ported, 8.2-1 compression 871 billet blower shop blower with intercooler setup for 8lbs boost with 2 dominator carbs Imco powerflow manifolds with dry to the tip tails and looking to ad the 771 cam just looking to see if anyone has a video of it running in an engine!?!? Going in a 25’ Eliminator Daytona currently has the 509 and dart heads but with a b&m 250 blower intercooler setup at 5lbs boost and unknown crane cam!

Just curious what a video is supposed to prove ? Some of the best running engines have cams that do not "sound" all that great. Performance numbers are a lot more important than sound.

The Crane catalog says:
Good mid range and upper rpm horsepower. Rough idle, performance usage. Bracket racing, manifold nitrous system, auto trans with 3500+ converter. Marine performance for 540+ engines, 3800 to 4200 cruise rpm. 10.5 to 12.5 compression ratio advised. Good with supercharger 18lbs maximum boost with 8 to 1 maximum compression ratio advised.

I 100% agree and will not pick a cam based on sound over performance, this cam I think will meet my expectations on performance but am asking for advice to reinsure that I made the right choice!! All the video would do is give me an idea of what it would sound like at idle, not looking for a drag car inspired idle but hoping it will at least have a noticeable high performance sounding idle to it....the current cam sounds very good but performance is left to be desired and although I do not know exactly what grind it is I hope to see a part number when I pull the timing cover to reference what was in it vs what it’s being replaced with. I have been down the custom spec cam road and although some good numbers can be had with that setup I’ve learned that the tried and true setups tend to be easier and less problematic most of the time! Offshore stuff is new to me as I’ve only build drag car motors and jet boat motors so I’m just asking for the more knowledgeable advice from you guys that have been around the offshore stuff for awhile. So the motor I mentioned above and the 771 crane cam!?
