Hello all - making progress on assembling of all parts for low boost blower project but .... I have metal spark arrestors on my carbed 454s. The weiand manual says you have to keep inside of those blowers clean and have some sort of paper filter K&N or something beyond the usual coast guard approved metal mesh ones.
What are you folks using?
Thanks!

you boys obviously have not seen the inside of my engine room - even though she stays on the water, dust from neighboring construction projects seems to get everywhere.
Thanks for the answers! Didnt know what was on the SC.

yup, K&N has them.

They are nice. If you have room, they have some real slick ones on Velocity stacks.
I also live on a dirt road and need to run an air filter. I'd post of picture of mine, but apparently I am not allowed to do they yet.

you have to be very careful on your choice, I did a setup like this few years ago, had a eddie marine HP arrester, 1st run would not make any boost 0 !! called weiand, said remove arrester 1st and run it..boom 6psi.
