Default mild build 454

I'm building a pair of 454 mag engines for a friend, he wants to hot rod it a little, Ive not messed with these before so all info is appreciated
They are fresh from the engine shop with stock short blocks assembled, forged internals, fresh 088 heads but not installed. He has 502 MPI intakes and ecms for these builds. What cam would work good with just a spring upgrade.........he's also thinking of low boost small blowers, these will be going in a 29 Outlaw with B 1's....he thinks there gen 6 blocks, going to pick them up Saturday

Does this sound like a thousand other threads..........lol

On a serious note,I'd be inclined to use an HP500efi cam,,that would juice it up some for you, will need an ecu reprogramming.

All very close in specs and would work well.

I'm putting together 2 Merc 420's currently and the only thing I'm changing are the cams and going to hydraulic roller lifters. I'm using HP500EFI cams, Crane 169621. Great minds think alike. It looks like a great combination.
