Default 889275T Fuel Pump Assembly

Is this just a lift pump for an electric fuel pump? Or is it regulated to run a carburetor off of? I show's it will run off a sea pump from 525EFI-799SCI. Need a sea pump fuel pump.

Merc has these pumps done over in Korea if I recall correctly. Its fits the 525 hp and some other models as a boost pump to feed the high pressure electric fuel pump.

I still have the 130gph Holley pump mated to the factory top for a sea pump if you’re interested.

Quick Fuel 850m and various mech pumps.

Yes, have one on my Rinker (carb) and use to use one on my Formula (502 MPI VST) prior to the repower (509 MEFI3). Bolt and go

The Merc pump is an Airtex? The reviews on the Airtex are hit and miss. I believe mostly due to the rotation of the outlet. I believe it can be clocked differently by unbolting.
The engines are NA 502's Will this pump support 600HP NA?

I’m running the stock merc pumps with 570hp carb engines to 6k rpm with no issues.

As a non-expert in the design of the pumps, I'll say they pump the same amount as the Merc OEM. So if the OEM work, then they should also. Normally these pumps will pump more fuel then the motor will consume

I'm running a Gen 2 cool fuel (530hp) without a mechanical pump in front and have no issue, and also the pump moves more fuel then my motor will use
