Default 525EFI No spark.

Late model 525.160 hours.
Running fine at idle on trailer, started running rough, stalled.Would not restart, but intermittent firing, trying to start.
Next afternoon, cranking but no firing at all.Get fuel pump and only cranking.
Smartcraft and laptop scan tool say sensor error,Have 5 volts at crank sensor.
Swapped cam and crank sensor from other motor,no difference.
Did a injector test, coil test and had spark at plugs.
Where to from here?

Any other thoughts on this?
Driving me insane.
Swapped ECU's,not that,crank and cam sensors,not that.
From what i can understand not much else will stop spark.
To recap, cranks, fuel pressure just no spark.
I did notice with ignition on the back of the alternator was warm.
Diacom, in read faults, comes up with sensor fault and then lists all the items i do not have connected.
Also has main power relay backfeed and driver power low.
On coil test it has spark at the plugs.

You need to post your engine serial number from the no start engine

key on only fuel pressure is at the fuel rail ? cranking engine over fuel pressure is ?

do you have spark on any ?? - sealed inline spark checkers cranking the engine over - are all 8 showing NO spark ?

so the injectors have power at the connectors 4 sure ? Noid lites on the connector, does it blink on testing all 8 when cranking over engine ?

Whats your voltage drop while cranking ?

What is your 5 V ref with key on and while cranking ?

No spark on all 8,Power at the injectors,Normal voltage drop while cranking.
I have no way of telling fuel pressure other than key on stops at pressure.
Have 5v at crank and cam sensors, can't remember if it was when cranking.
The only thing i can think of now is maybe the fuel pressure sender on the rail even though it stops as the
rail pressure builds, maybe the side that sends the signal to spark is faulting.
I think it is 4 wire.

Was not sure if you had spark or not cause in post # 1 your post says had spark at the plugs, How are you testing for spark at the spark plugs ? hopefully you are not grounding the plugs out against the engine block checking spark that way ? Thats one way to blow up the boat and or ruin your PCM

So the things that come to mind

1. Kill switch

2. Neutral safety switch

and going off the top of my head

3. ignition relay ? but I think there is 2 main relays - 1 trim pump and 1 fuel pump relays . One of the main relays could be an issue ?????

4. Buy I 4 SURE would check this one -- in the fuse holder if I recall number 2 fuse 20 amp for the ign coils possible is blown and or also check for power there and make sure no corrosion and good contacts. There should be 2 fuse holders with 4 fuses in each holder making it a total of 8 fuses. The number 2 fuse should be for ign coils. If I RECALL CORRECTLY.

Yes checked all the fuses, changed the 3 relays, main power 1 and 2 and fuel pump.
Inline spark tester and have spark when doing coil test on laptop.
Maybe kill switch but there is not one in the boat, twin engine.
Neutral switch, did jig the controls but maybe should look into that a bit more.
This was running fine at idle then started coughing and stalled. Then no spark.
Could the alternator have anything to do with it.
I noticed it was warm after a bit of cranking and ignition on.

Anymore thoughts on this?
Have very occasional intermittent firing and injector pulse and always misfiring, backfiring.
Maybe 1 fire every 10, 3 sec cranks.
Cranks normal.
Completely out of ideas.
