The 8.2 Ramjet was EFI wasn't it?
What did it use?

Merc's 500 EFI 8.2 no crank sensor HEI ignition not coil on plug like the 525, and the HP 500 was carb 8.2

On pg 18 of that PDF is shows the Ramjet502 uses the external coil computer controlled HEI. So, no cam sensor.

Qestion for you guys that have or are intimate with the 525eFI, is the timing cover steel/aluminum or plastic/nylon ?
