Default Bravo 1 to Bravo 3X swap

i have a chance to buy Bravo 3X drive to replace a 1990 Bravo 1. Is it a direct swap or do I need to fiddle with it?

Looking to improve performance at easy cruising speeds. Not concerned about top speed. People claim 20% improvement. What’s your experience?

What boat/engine? I'd first look at dialing in your current setup with a modern 4-blade.

Yes, direct swap so long as your current boat is a 1998 and newer
