Please Read My Spark Plugs
I know some have checked out of my ongoing issue here: https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...le-please.html which is still updated with fresh info. So I've made this separate thread to bring some fresh eyes back to diagnose my plugs to determine whether or not it's worthwhile to pull the injectors for maintenance. 62 hours on the plugs and they were installed new July of 2016.
What'cha think? https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/ng/ser...008386/enhance https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/ng/ser...008670/enhance Thanks for any help you an lend. Keith |
they look ok to me.

Can't really "read" 62 hour spark plugs. I'd say they look ok and don't see any issues.

Thanks all! I was trying to determine if there was an overly rich or lean conditon in one of the holes which may be causing my issues and to help diagnose whether it is an injector problem. As far as I'm concerned they look good across the board and I'll save pulling the injectors for service as a last resort. Keith |
Can't see in the top of the plug but the one looks hotter all the way to the right looks like more threads have color. You will see it. In the bottom photo |

My first 7.4L engine - 1990 - used MR43T plugs. My second 7.4L engine - 1999 - used MR43LTS plugs. There is a 1/4" difference in the plug's reach. |
