Hi There, I looked through all of the old threads before posting this. However, I may have overlooked good information already out there.
I am looking to replace the impeller on my 2003 496HO. I have had it done at the shop a couple of times but I am going to give it a go. I cant seem to find any information/ videos on youtube or anywhere. Any pointers or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Fairly simple, hardest part for many is just getting at it.
Remove the pump and disassemble.
If there are any impeller pieces missing, need to find them
Look for any grooves in the housing and backing plate. If grooves are found, will need some rebuild plates
With impeller remove spin the pulley to feel and listen for any noise or roughness, If issues are found need to take pump apart further and replace bearings. In most cases this is not needed.
Install new impeller and wear plates as need and lube impeller with soap (no oil) or glycerin (best)
