I can show pics from wear plate to show light signs of wear on it.So you can see it was in when use the pump.
I am at holiday now for 3 weeks and use merc pump.
Get pressure at or over 30psi.
Gauge work only to 30 but today i look at the ecomonitor that show real digitalletters.

On the older or Racing waterpumps you change only the rear impeller housing and front pump with pulley can be used in same way.

I remember seeing this scrap metal on the bench and tossing it.

Oem merc on the left and the Sierra on the right. A definite difference in thickness and quality.

When you put all of the parts in it actually pumps. Who woulda thunk it. Works great on the hose so far.

You’re going to love that pump man. I have had mine since 2012 and it’s simple peace of mind. I love the slotted mounting hole. Makes the yearly impeller change so much easier. How many hours do you have on you new motor now?

Finally got about two hours on her and she runs like a champ!

The water pump pump is working great now. I have a 160° thermostat and it held 170 all day.

Rooster - are you open or closed cooling system? I'm in the process of assembling mine and can't decide 160' or 180' thermostat to get hot enough for the sniper
Thanks Jason
