Default Dry Pipes

Got some water trickling out of my "dry" pipes. These are CMI big tubes and it looks like the tails are the two-piece style that have a joint half way between the header and then the pipe just runs through the transom cut out.

The headers are new, but the tails are old. Are these prone to routing out? Anyone got a picture how these go together? I assume they are notched or slotted somehow? Can I get these of without removing the headers or do I need to rip the headers off?

Assuming I shouldn't run the boat until I fix these (reversion concerns)?

Any seals or anything in there that tend to go bad? Can I pressure test this style of tail
