Default whistle in drive?

so finally got out on the water for the first time this year (don't get me started) had my drives serviced this spring (pulled, gimble checked, pressure tested etc.) and on my 2nd run I noticed a small whistle like sound when I'd turn at high speed. originally I thought it must be power steering or something, but fluid is full and it's not making any kind of noise at idle, really I don't hear anything till I'm over 3k rpm. any ideas what this could be?
