Installing the imco steering rams on my formula and the rams wont extend. Do they need hydraulic pressure or should you be able to extend them with some muscle? Mine wont budge with my full body weight. Ron said I should be able to pull them out by hand but I cant.

Yes, should be able to pull out by hand. After sitting awhile mine were a bit hard to pull, but after overcoming the initial force moved easily (not installed of course).
