Question carb?

A friend of mine has a 16' Nautique with a 302 Ford. He want to replace the 650 holley carb with an edlebrock. The question is, the 600 or 750 cfm carb? The engine is stock. Please no ripping on his choice of carb. Thanks, 88 Mach 1

The change is because the holley has been rebuilt so many times it's kinda worn out. OK guys were one for one keep them coming........:-)

600
600
600
600
600
600
600
600
600

Now its 10 to 1

Actually though, there is no reason to run a 750 on that small of cubic inch engine. A 750 Weber(same as Edelbrock) was the stock carb on 454 mags so a 600 will be plenty on a 302.
