Default Drive shower installation

Bravo 1, standard right hand rotation, does it matter if the drive shower pick up is on the left or right side of the drive? Can a drive shower pick up cause ventilation/cavitation/prop blow out? Any experience or advice on this is appreciated.

And yes, they can cause cavitation. I had to cut about an inch off of one once. I just used a cutoff wheel and cut it at aprox the same angle as it was originally.

Thanks. Mine is on the right so I'm going to move it to the left and try to spacer it up so it doesn't stick through as far. It's curved like an elbow so not sure how I would cut it off.
