You have Stainless Marine with nice risers.... DON'T TOUCH IT !!!!!

Performance wise you have good exhaust... Dependability wise you have good exhaust, A little extra bling is not worth header headaches. Do a search on here for cmi/header cracks/leaks......

You want bling?? for what you would spend on headers which are going to net you zero performance wise, you could stick a say, 250 blower on it and actually gain some performance

Save yourself the headaches and keep the SM . You really won't see any gain in speed to justify . I assume you have a platform on the back as to why they are fabed like that. The cost of tubes you should be able to bling out the bilge . Wait until holidays and Teauge has great sale on the pieces they manufacture, Scored my 3 trim tanks last year and 25% off went along way to buy other pieces.

Thanks for all the great feedback. This is such a great forum. I would like to find a complete 500/525 accessory drive set up to covert my v belt to serpentine like your 500’s. The Volvo 500 sea pump is all the way at the bottom on the crank which makes it hard to add a supercharger.

https://www.crowleymarine.com/mercur...cfm?mdl=TVT6XQ . You will need to get a 807767t idler bracket as the one listed in the link is nla. Don't think you will find a used 500/525 pulley system complete.
