Are you ever not in boost while on plane?
Boost referencing in a marine application makes no sense. Pvs are open the whole time while under boost (99% of the time) so whats the point of unmetered fuel getting dumped into the carbs.
I did all my fueling with jets. No boost referencing, no PV`s .
out of the box 1050 quickfuels were great, You don`t need a carb shop, it`s a waste of $$ .
Nickerson modifier carbs that were on the boat when I bought it were piles of junk with a horrible fuel curve

May want to price out going EFI instead of the carbs..might surprise you and be cheaper honestly. Other than that I agree with above...talked with ICDEDPPL and Mild thunder both when I had carbs and pulling the power valves and jetting up made a big difference in mine...Idled better, came on plane better, less soot on the transom

I had King Demons on my 10-71 blowers. They were easy to adjust. Idle was great.

Dont waste money on ProSystems, very disappointed with the carbs and their support. The best carbs are fuel injectors.

If by the post above you are referring to me- the carbs were **** and his nonexistent customer service was ****. I used them one season and replaced them with Quick Fuels. I could elaborate on every detail but this isn't a post about my carb problems. I just gave the OP my opinion to use as he will.
