Where to get 4" exhaust hose?
 

I'm swapping my 260 carb for a 350 mag mpi the exhaust is bumping up to 4" where's the best place to buy this stuff without paying $10.00/mm?
Not sure how much I exactly need but I'm guessing 5' total for both sides.

on a side note. Could I run 4” stainless tubing with the rubber on each end?

Where in Michigan are you? I bought some at my marina and it really isn't cheap anywhere you get it. I might have a couple feet laying around my pole barn in Muskegon.

I've run 4" stainless inside the 4" ID high temp silicone hose for years. You just can't use hose that is non-supported/rigid hose, because the hose collapses and opens when under power. It's a pretty neat phenomenon.
If it's water cooled I don't see an issue.

yes, it’s wet exhaust. I’m picturing 4” SS tube with a 6” piece of the reinforced rubber on each end. Not exactly following what the high temp silicone hose you are mentioning. Is it like the cold side turbo stuff or am I way off?

I've ran this setup.for a few years with no problems. HPS couplers and Ebay pipe.

Believe I used 4 1/8" size so 4" pipe easier to push in.
