Dual sync way easier.
Unless you`re going over 7,000 rpm dual sync will work just fine.
did you cut the snout of harmonic balancer down?thats how I did it then its an easy install

I didn`t like that option, still more expensive and unnecessary imop.

What you're writing is exactly what I'm talking about and they don't have documentation on it. There's no documentation out there on firing a single ignition coil NOT using a CD box and controlling the timing through the ECU.

What you're doing is running a single coil but the CD-1 is firing your ignition using the points output. The HP and Dominator cannot fire a stand-alone coil unless you use a CD ignition OR you have to run a Sniper ignition module.

Thanks! Carbureted it made 960hp and with this stetup it made 975hp out of the gate. I ran a smaller upper pulley to get the boost up and it made just under 1000 hp at 6psi. With a bigger blower it could have done a lot more.

DId you figure this out how to fire a single coil without the box? This is the answer to the question I had a few pages ago.

I’m sure you figured it out but it’s just a simple Bosch inductive igniter.

That's correct, there isn't documentation out there from Holley on it. They just assume that you're going to either use a CD Box, GM distributor or coil on plug. They have documentation for the Sniper system for a single coil with no box but not the HP or Dominator. I figured it out on my own a few weeks ago.
