What did you get, shrader valves are the same?
If you got the OTC version JC0180-1280 is used to connect to fuel pressure gauge. There are two sets on threads on the female side. Its pushed further to engage the smaller shrader threads. The male side threads fits the hose going to gauge

Trying to connect these at each fuel rail. Marshall Gauge 0-60 Psi Fuel / Oil Pressure Gauge Black 1.5" Diameter (1/8" NPT).
Additionally, the generic fuel pressure tester shrader fitting I use rocks on both of the fuel rail valves on both of my engines.

You should be able to use either the front location where the shrader valve is or the rear port plug on the fuel rail. The issue for both spots is having enough space for the sender. The front needs an adapter extension to clear the upper intake but not go too far and hit the Tstat and the rear would need a small 90* adapter to clear the dist cap. I have the same issue and really haven't dove into it.

This https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fuel-Rail-P...72.m2749.l2649 as I need a bend to clear throttle linkage. If you look down in the ad they reference different shrader port and thread sizes, leading me to believe they aren't all the same.
