I probably need to drain most of it. I can get rid of it, it’s just a hassle with 5 gallon gas cans and 40 gallons of gas🙀

I'd pick up a larger gas can to drain it into, and keep it for the lawnmower, weedwacker, etc. I don't like to take a chance of having bad fuel when boating, even if it doesn't ruin an engine it could ruin your day.

I'm with the lawnmower guys, or maybe an old beater car. Get it out of the boat.

Drain as much as you can - I also have a 7.4 MPI - the last thing you want is something squirrely going on with the injectors. I'm sure there is a lawn service that would gladly take this off your hands - once you get to about 10 gallons I would fill it up with premium - a couple of cans of Seafoam and run it as much as you can. I really think you should be pretty good. For sure you want to keep an eye out for a set impeller - that might need to be changed. All the best

You're probably right but as hard as boat engines work I personally wouldn't chance it. Should be fine to burn it in a car if not run hard.

Remember heat is gasoline's biggest enemy. If it sat in the Fla heat for 2 yrs then get rid of it for sure but if it sat up north for 2 yrs in inside storage I wouldnt worry too much about it.

Drain it from the boat for sure. Pour abt 4 or 5 gallons in your car/truck right before you fill it up. If the octane has dropped, your cars computer will see the pinging and retard timing automatically. After you run thru all of it, replace the car's fuel filter.
