I made one from a $10 garden sprayer 15 years ago. It holds about a gallon or enough to fill 2 bravo drives. I re-used the clear hose and fitting from one of those cheap hand pump units as well as kept the garden sprayer trigger. Once I get the fitting screwed into the drive I can lock down the trigger and walk away while it fills.....just don't go too far as you'll have a quart or 2 all over the garage floor (don't ask how I know!)

AD how do you control oil flow? Install a shut off of just vent the pressure when full?

T500HPS; That's the same as mine except my trigger was broke so I connected hose directly to fitting for drive. The yellow disc is the pressure dump. Twist it to dump air press and stop oil flow quickly. My Bravo drives fill in abt 10 min each. I'll never go back to hand pumps.

so when you relieve the pressure does the oil try to come back out ? do you need to clamp the fill hose off
|
The pump you are getting has an on / off thumb trigger on the wand. When totally done you can slightly unscrew big pump mechanism with handle to unpressurized for storage. You’ll hear it hiss when unscrewed enough.

I usually place the sprayer on a trim tab so gravity helps fill drive. This also prevents lube loss when press is dumped. |
The synthetic lube does run out a bit faster then the HP stuff, but still no issue. I fill mine off the boat, and once bottom plug is installed, lay the drive on its die and remove vent plug again. Then let the hose pour some in the top until full and reinstall plug. This way there is very little which will need to be added later to the botlle

Does anybody have a parts list for what we need to convert a garden sprayer?
