Default Integral gasoline tanks - how does skater get away with it?

Like the title suggests, how does skater get away with integral gasoline tanks? Everything that I have read states integral fuel tanks cannot be used for gasoline per ABYC. Integral means The hull makes up one or more sides of the tank, or they are used to support the deck.

are skater tanks neither part of the hull or supporting the deck

im not trying to take a stab at skater, but rather I would like to put integral tanks in a boat I’m working on. I don’t want to create more headaches for myself...
