Trim Limit and Trim Sender labaling.

Frist I would like to say that I know what the senders are, where and how to adjust them.
I want to install an MDC trim sync to my 2013, 292 Fastech drives. On the Stbd engine side, There are 2 sets of black, 2 cord wires coming through the transom area of the engines input shaft. (Trim Limit and Trim Sender)
One set of wires goes to Formula's wiring harness labeled analog trim. See pic.

The other set runs down the Transom, turns and runs along the bilge to the Stbd side where it meets up to another wiring harness. I was unable to find the end of that wire it plugs into or find its label.
The sync needs to connect to the trim sender wires. I was under the impression that the trim sender wouldn't be connected to anything being that there's a mechanical sender. That its ends would be plugged off.
Is the trim analog wire the limit switch or the trim sender? Why does it seem that both limit/ trim sender wire is connected to something and where would it go?
Thanks for your help
