Default Component/camshaft choice

Hey guys!
Ive started building a new engine and would like some input as to what kind of camshaft i should choose.
Im new to boats, so I dont really know what characteristics Im looking for.
Heres what Ive got so far:
My boat is called a croupier player and is 24ft long. Its swedish boat from the 80s so you may not have heard about it, its got a pretty good 26degree v-shaped brottom, so it runs like a dream in messier seas.
Anyway The engine om building is based on a HP Passenger 454 block.
Its lined, and decked (dont know if thats correct in english)
And Ive got a pair of Ls7 cylinder heads.
Im only putting forged parts in it of course.
Eagle rods and a treated crank.

How do i know what kind of cam to look for? Im after abit of performance of course but nothing extreme, reliability is also important so Im thinking hydraulic roller cam perhaps? But what shape? Can you guys help me out with this?

You will need performance exhaust with longer risers to use any decent cam.
Crane 168731 should work well if you get good exhaust.

What do you think about comp cams hydraulik roller cam with 218/224 lift? They have a good kit complete with rods and lifters that seems nice, would that work well with my imco powerflow?
