I am waiting for the Holley HP ECU part #555-604N equipped with an NTK O2 sensor and I have NO engine dyno near me. I am so scared of burning up this engine by doing something carless from lack of knowledge. It is also an N/A engine. I had the new Dry tail risers by EMI made with a bung in each side so I can have one for Holley and one for a dash mounted Wide band.

I have no clue what timing to run on a Big block I'm more in tune with an LS and what heat range plug to start with???

And for knock sensors, do these blocks even have provisions for that? Mine is a brand new GM performance 502 block as my stock one cracked in a water jacket.
PM me your email and I will send you my NA file. It's probably safer than pulling something out of their "Base Tunes". You look it over and build you're tune from it. We are close to builds but I have a little less compression and better heads on 454's.

AC Delco M43T for stock oem iron heads. Unless the Vortec iron oval ports. Think those take 43LTS.

yeah sorry chaps thought i was replying to my own thread regarding the sniper spark tables. Im not sure but 25 degrees is an insane amount of timing for marine use.. id say starting round 12-16 and maybe 28 at cruise /3000rpm and above would be a starting point. Ran a similar tune ona stock gen4 merc and it was screaming. 50mph vs 40 original, and the power is just on tap, like a double pumper almost.. Real nice aggressive -
