For those of us who frequently remove the engine hatch - does anyone have a solution or flush mount pin attachment that I can install on the topside of my engine hatch to lift it off. Current process takes too long and uses straps around the hatch.
A simple pin that can be removed would be ideal. Similar to the flush mount bumper cleats, but for lifting straight up. Like a twist lock cam pin, or something similar?
Engine hatch:

Bumper cleat / pin

Something like this, similar to a "D-ring" for lifting up dies and machined parts. Anyone install anything with success?

Yes and No - I am looking for a pin similar to this, with the clevis / ring attached, that someone has used. Just don;t want to go drilling holes into my newly finished fiberglass and paint only to make a mistake. Looking for any solutions someone has used. The ball locks make me nervous, but they show ratings from 400-1,000# lifting capacity, vertical. Sooo......
