Default Igniton module Identification help!

Hey guys, looking for some input on the ignition module on my boat. The motor is a 1995 454 MAG with a carb. Currently have the 806745-3 ignition module installed on the boat, Im wondering if anyone can tell me the timing curve on this module? I dont see anywhere on the module were it says V-8 20, or V-8 24.... Just trying to figure out what exactly I have on it for timing purposes. (installing a procharger when the boat comes out of storage in the spring) I cant seem to find any information at all about this module online as to tell me what it is either.

Thanks for any help!

Hey SB, thanks for the quick response! I read threw that article, Im assuming I have the Thunderbolt V system as I have the knock sensor piggybacked onto the ignition module. Lots of great info in that article regading setting base timing and putting the system in base timing mode. I just dont see anywhere in that article at all the total advance for that specific module that I have on my boat currently, and thats what Im looking for. Seems the information is hard to come by.

Its hard to read because its small, but in short
10* advance on acceleration
10-15* advance at cruise speed

This is from base timing of 10* so total timing = 20-25*

It’s there.
Read all if it.
Do not miss any of it including graphs/pages from mercruiser included in Post #8.

Thanks AllDodge and SB, reread the article and I understand it a little better now. So this system is not like the Thunderbolt IV setups at all with the different modules I was referring to from what Im reading in that article? This system works with the knock module to control overall timing as well from how I read the graph. Just trying to figure out the timing for the procharger installation
