Default Msd 6m-2

This is how my box is wired up and this is the photo from holleys website, my question is all the directions have the single pink and grey wire swap out on the direction... do you have to switch this around or just hook the single pink from the box to my tack lead? If have to switch it around why did they send them out like this? Any input would be great! Thanks..

I only see one picture that looks to be from the manufacturers site. Holley has directions on their site. Bottom pink to tach output, the remaining wires in that strain relief are for the rpm module. The wires above in a second strain relief are to the tach , ignition and such, battery pos and neg are separate and obvious.

This is from Holley’s site on same page as 6M2 box. OP is right. Show’s gray instead of pink. But...using his photo, by location, it appears pink wire with the connector is the tach output.
See here: https://documents.holley.com/6560.pdf

Not the first time MSD has f’d up. Once in a while their distributors pick up wires are reversed. Lol.

Lol at MSD. Ever since move to China for manufacturing has their stuff really gone to schit.

The pic on the 6M2 ‘s page in Holley’s site clearly show’s the single grey wire with connector. See here:

Call them to tell’m change instructions or wire color. And to wake up.
