Default Header to tailpipe flange???

Good afternoon, I purchase a new big tube header for the stb side. However , after receiving it i noticed how the flange ends are different from my previous set as l as the tail pipes.

these are clearly two different types but I’m stuck on what direction to go to make this work with what i have or if i need to have a new tailpipe made?

the set with soot on the end is what i have for tailpipes, any help would be greatly appreciate
thanks

I believe the top photo is a newer design. Does the bottom photo header connect directly to the tail or is there a piece in between the header and tail?

These are the tails, it was just a gasket and a v band clamp. So if the other is a rope style, is there anyway to get these tails to work??

The newer header is just a gasket as well, but obviously the tail is beveled to the header shape. I’d call CMI and ask if they have a sort of adapter?

I have trs tails at cmi if in need let me know and I can put a call into them. They’ve been sitting there for some time now. This just reminded me. Also I have brand new clamps, gaskets etc for etops.

Those are not rope seal headers. Not sure why they have the angled flange instead of flat though.
