Default Inside hydraulic kit

I have a 96 270 Powerquest laser twin that came with a Latham dual ram and tie bar set up from factory. I have some slip developing in my steering cable and a chine walk issue. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on finishing out the hydraulic steering. I am looking at the Mayfair Deluxe inside steering kit offered by Hardin Marine. Anybody have any experience with this kit? Anything to look out for?

It's basic hydraulics. Not much different from one company to the next. They all either use Charlynn/Eaton or Danfoss helm pumps. Do you know the volume the helm puts out? They conveniently do not list it on the site. There was an issue years ago with the self made hydraulic lines popping off the fittings, but I forget what company that was. I'm sure they have remedied that since.

I did an IMCO external one with the triangle mount over the winter. I haven't actually gotten to drive it yet, but certainly solid materials.
