I've used the 2510R on a bunch of engines. Plunger height is definitely different and you'll need to resize pushrods.

I ended up going with the Johnson 2510r lifter for a replacement for my 600 SCI engines. Parts are getting hard to find, so if anyone else needs these, Marine Kinetics has them.

Hi, we noticed your comment saying you have hit a snag in trying to obtain the Crane lifters 26535-16 for your engine.
Our company (Outlaw Speed Shop) has 38 sets of these lifters and can give you a good price. We have been the Australian sole distributor for the last 24 years and purchased everything Crane had in stock when they closed. Please go to our website by doing a Google Search on 'Outlaw Speed Shop', then in our search window, enter '26535-16' to see the part listed on our website. NOTE: price is in Australian Dollars and not USD. Do not try to purchase from our website as it does not allow international sales. Instead, reply to this message or make contact via our website's Contact Us page. Also, This forum does not allow me to provide website links due to being a new user on this forum. Post nine more times (can be random whatever) and you'll be able to post pics and links.

Thanks for your comment. Cheers |
All well and good but mostly moot for the OP.
A) He said in post # 12 he got Johnsons. B) His boat was the subject of discussions as it was listed less power a few months ago. C) He's been MIA on this forum since March of this year. |
Oh I see! Thanks for that. I'd not obviously read the other comments. My boss just asked me to respond to the post that he found. Cheers
