The Woooples are alive!
That`s what my wife calls the Whipples .
Next is in/out of gear tuning. Dual IAC must bring in a ton of air. With the blades closed all the way the IAC count is still pretty low |
Congrats! Looks great.

and they idle like a Qjet on a 327

Nice, congratulations. I like all the data you get.

I`ve never seen a whipple surge but with a couple key strokes I can give it a try :drink: |
What software are you tuning them with?

How did you get your IAT up to 162 on the hose?
|
The sensor is in the intake runner , I think it reverts some exhaust at idle .
The other engine it`s in the back of the intake and the temps at idle read much lower . Once I get on plane and there`s water thru the chiller , that temps drops like a rock. Good eye thou lol |
Man, that's some really cool hardware. How much boost are you targeting?
|
Like others said almost idles too smooth! Is there another tensioner that goes on or is the one pulley the only tensioner? I’m not super familiar with the bigger wooples

It’s the special software that stabilizes the ninja canootin lobes. “Smart lobes”. 😆 |

If they work as good as they look and combined with the Woofles , maybe? It would be nice cause those props carried the boat absolutely perfect . https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...6047747b21.jpg |
Nice idle in neutral in your video roughly 800rpm....great for maneuvering/shifting when you need it and good manners around the docks----also those Whipples look great, and looks like a nice install job too.

Sounds good ! Did you use the learn function on the Holley or do the tuning manually ?
I found learn was all over the place , as far as work ing the table down . Are you useing the large table 31X31 Tables or 16x16 ? Had a guy that tunes at ton of everything , tell me that a boat would run better with small tables, because the ecm didnt have to interpolate as much . |
The learn function does screw things up at idle.. I do like to use it to fine tune the tune but after 2000rpm.
Using smaller tables . Haven`t had a chance to put it in the water yet for tuning. MR MIKE I ZOOM machined some new longer bigger tabs for me and they are getting a cerakote clear coat next week. |
