I’m amazed. Taken a lot of Fords apart never seen one stuck that bad. I would have put money on threads being jacked. Was bolt bottomed out?
Congrats nice ride |

I just ordered one myself. Sounds like the ticket!!! What I ended up doing to get it out was repetitious heat cycles (about 6 red hot) to the bolt head allowing heat to transfer. Cheater bar and about 3/4 throttle with my arm. Once I got past a half turn I was convinced I wasn’t just spinning off the bolt head. 😂. Persistence, patients and OSO rocks!!! Thanks everyone - Lots of good advice |

Humm, don't see a speck of rust on the bolt. Did it fight you all the way or did it come out easy after broken loose?

This would have been a great thread in January (no pun intended)... 5 pages to get a bolt out
|
How does one cross thread a crank bolt, asking for a friend?
|
Congrats
