Block and manifold cooling can be very taxing on the capacity of the heat exchanger. I have headers so cooling both is not even a consideration on my setup.
When you ordered the system, was it spec’d for cooling both areas of the engine?

Yes. I bought the BBC full closed system. Monitor mfh-5374.
