Default Part Question

Looking for that the name of this part below. I use it as a trailer tie down but I feel like it might be a mounting location for a steering ram ? I am redoing a lot on my transom and figured I would replace with a polished piece and reseal the thru hull bolts.

How old is the boat? Could have been a Norskog or Keller Speedo tube mount.

Boat is a 1994 Baja Outlaw. I also forgot to mention the other side has one equally spaced.

Somebody added those at some point. Not a marine specific part. Looks like thick aluminum angle that has been cut and rounded.

Replace with a "stern eye" and get a properly rated tie down.
