Just purchased a 2017 Baja Outlaw 27 with 8.2L H.O. Boat is bone stock 50hours. The one I traded in was a SST 2008 that flew on the water. This one I need some prop advice and here is the situation. 4 people on the boat with 3/4 tank and it takes FOREVER to plane out. Also WOT 5,000 RPM with only hitting 59 mph. Boat came with a 24 pitch 4 blade nothing special prop. Question for the community is what's the best prop, pitch, etc for this boat to get it out of the water faster and hit the 62-64mph the specs state it should? Looking at a Bravo 4 blade with 23 pitch. Please share your advice/experience. Also any bolt on's suggested to boost HP. Thank you!!!

If you have some random, no name prop, that is your problem.
Years ago I tried a Michigan Wheel stainless prop on a runabout. The prop was garbage. No trim reaction and slower than the aluminum quicksilver prop that I was trying to replace.
On all of my performance boats I've had excellent luck with Hydromotive. I've also had great luck with Merc Bravo props, as well as Merc factory Labbed Maximus props. I would suggest to go with a Bravo, and whatever Baja originally used for pitch. Your RPMs are close to where they should be. Get a better prop, and see what happens.
